Small place so get there early especially on the weekends. Excellent breakfast and menu overall. Wish they were open a little later for dinner service.
Waited five minutes to be seated as waitresses and cooks stared at us without word. Another party walked in and were almost seated first until we said something. Our table was cleaned with a dirty washcloth and the seats of the booth were torn and half taped up with duct tape. The last straw came when after we had waited at the table to order they went to the party who had come in well after us and took their order first.
The place is too small and it gets super hot inside. It took forever to get our food to the point where we where pretty much ready to leave and one of the items we ordered never made it to our table so we cancelled it. Food was OK not not so great to make it worthwhile.
This place has what I would imagine is a New York attitude. It was a bit impersonal which I do not mind I was there to eat. We did stand around a bit before our presence was acknowledged but the place was hopping. Ordered our food which arrived in a reasonable segment of time. I ordered the Bacon Cheese Burger medium and it came with coleslaw and fries. The portions were generous and the food was plated attractively. I began to eat and quickly discovered that every last thing was delicious! The burger was as good as any I have had definitely a stand out. The slaw was yummy as well as the fries. I want to go back!
Have been eating there for 4 years. For the most part it has been very good. Has a few minor things that need to be corrected. But overall still good. Stopped in at 1:35 and owner told us we had plenty of time since they close at 2. We ordered our normal ' anytime breakfast" one with well done home fries and other with scattered well both sides hash browns. They home fries were like warm and not even close to being cooked right and the hash browns were light brown on one side and almost uncooked on the other. Asked the cook what happened and he said he did not have time to cook them, cause he was doing his closing duties. NOT GOOOD
