Delivered a package to the wrong address. Its been 6 days a not a call back with updates etc
The people working at our USPS handle literally millions of pieces of mail every year. Show some respect and dont be sour because you didn't get your way or feel someone didn't give you respect or that "excellent customer service" you feel is deserved........give respect to get respect.
This post office is supposed to be delivering packages on Sunday to Amazon Prime members. We are one of the few Sunday delivery markets that Amazon has. The PO has stopped delivering on Sunday and are changing the dates on Sunday to another delivery day, even though they have the packages at the PO. I contacted Amazon and filed a complaint. This post office is violating their contract. As with many PO's in Florida, unprofessional and rude clerks and mangers. .
Been here on several different locations and I am usually helped by Donnie. He was always friendly, fast, and efficient.
Beyond terrible communication from the staff and underwhelming customer service. A package came late containing a guest book for my sisters wedding. I do not hold the staff at this location responsible for its late arrival but their handling of picking it up was dreadful. It came on the morning of the wedding and my brother in law went to pick up with my sister info and the tracking number. He could not pick it up because they have different last names but the staff told him that if someone with the same last name came then they could pick it up. Since I have the same last name I drove over an hour and a half to pick up the package, unfortunately they did not say that I also had to have the same address even though I had called them and clarified what I would need beforehand, as did my brother in law. I was unable to pick up the package. I get the rules are in place for a reason and I'm not upset for them following rules but I have a big issue with the fact they couldn't explain it beforehand to my brother in law or I when we had directly asked them to, also they were completely stone faced and unsympathetic. Both my brother in law and I are nonconfrontational and easy going guys but I think someone else in our situation could have blown up over the situation. I love history and enjoy the ties that USPS has to it in our country, but from now on I'll avoid using them where I can and pay a little extra to use another party with a better customer experience. The USPS is a dying institution.
I think it's pretty crappy of folks to bash our post office (Valrico) just because they had a bad experience. For ever 1 complaint, there are 100 happy customers, but only the bad ones take the time to write a review out of an act of vengeance. The American way I suppose.......
